Role Overview:

This is a chance to join Techspert’s high performing sales team at an exciting time. The Sales Development Representative is responsible for collaborating with the wider sales team, marketing, and other revenue-generating functions to meet "top of funnel" targets.

The ideal candidate for this role will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and target-driven, who enjoys interaction with prospects and colleagues alike. Will also have a hunger to learn about the expert network industry.

Techspert is a scale-up company with aggressive growth ambitions. The Sales Development Representative role can and should be viewed as an opportunity to join Techspert's team and a springboard to progress into more senior roles.

Responsibilities:

The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for booking meetings for the head of sales in accordance with targets outlined in their commission plan. This will involve:

  •          Identify New Business Opportunities with companies who are an ideal profile for our expert network solution.

  •          Effectively communicate the challenges our personas face and Techspert’s value proposition in a well-organised and thoughtful manner.

  •          Generate qualified opportunities each month through a multi-channel approach that includes phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn.

  •          Meeting weekly KPIs around performance activity

  •          Work closely with our marketing and customer success teams to nurture and convert leads and provide feedback on campaigns to optimise our lead generation process.

  •          Thoroughly quality leads through strategic questioning and active listening, allowing you to uncover their potential pain points and gaps in their current workflow.

  •          Take ownership of your prospecting pipeline and ensure strong CRM hygiene by keeping records up to date.

  •          Managing both inbound enquiries and the outbound GTM engine.

Requirements:

  • Resilient, unafraid of a challenge. In sales, you’re going to hear the word no a lot. We need people that can push through the no’s to find the clients that will truly benefit from our solution.

  • Self-driven and motivated. Unlike large sales function you will have much more exposure to the end-to-end sales funnel which means there’s more responsibility on your shoulders.

  • Strong communication skills. Whether you’re talking to our clients or collaborating within our team, this will be vital.

  • Desire to build a long-term career. This role is a steppingstone within Techspert. We are looking for a team member that is eager to learn and make a key contribution to the continu+ed success of the business.

  • Ability to work well independently and as a team. We’re a close-knit team that is rapidly growing. We all need to get along but handle not having a constant direction.

  • Previous Sales experience and Life Science or Biomedical background is considered as “nice to have” but not a requirement.
